Mink yarn comes from mink that are gently shorn, so no mink are killed! The fibers are very soft but very short, which is why they are often spun together with other fibers so the yarn won’t break when knitting. It can be knit with a single strand into a lovely shawl or held double to make a cozy sweater. There isn’t much mink yarn on the market, so you get a truly unique product here, which on top of that is hand-dyed - win win......
