This blend of fibers yields a very lovely, soft and drapey yarn. It works particularly well for shawls and, if you knit sweaters — which you certainly can — be aware that it can stretch 2 - 3 cm in length after some wear. Even though it is a very soft yarn, if you are sensitive or allergic, you should knit a swatch and wear it to test whether you can tolerate it. Alpaca fibers can be tricky for some, even though they are soft.
