Mink yarn comes from mink that are gently sheared, so no mink are killed! The fibers are very soft but very short, so they are often spun together with other fibers to allow knitting without the yarn breaking. It can be knit with a single strand and become a lovely shawl, or with two strands and become a cozy sweater. There isn't much mink yarn on the market, so here you get a truly unique product, which is on top of that also hand-dyed - win win......
