Mink yarn comes from mink that are gently sheared, so no mink die! The fibres are very soft but very short, which is why they are often spun together with other fibres so the yarn won’t break when knitting. It can be knit with a single strand to make a lovely shawl or with two strands to make a cosy sweater. There isn’t much mink yarn on the market, so here you get a truly unique product that is also hand-dyed - win win......
