Mink yarn comes from mink that are gently clipped so no mink die! The fibers are very soft but very short, so they are often spun together with other fibers to prevent the yarn from breaking when you knit with it. It can be knitted with a single strand to make a lovely shawl or with two strands to make a cozy sweater. There isn’t much mink yarn on the market, so you get a truly unique product here, which on top of that is hand-dyed - win win......
