Mohair is not just mohair..... mohair is hair and not wool. Therefore, the shorter the hairs are, the more it will itch - similar to if we were very closely cropped. Economically, producers get more by shearing the goats more often and thus yield more yarn than letting them grow long. The longer the hairs are, the more they lie flat against our skin and therefore itch less. It is not recommended for allergy sufferers and therefore has a category C, but if you are "just" sensitive, I would still recommend you try this, as it is truly different. This luxury mohair only runs 350m per 50g. It becomes very thick if you knit with two strands. Therefore, for example, PetiteKnits "Kumulus sweater" would be nice in just a single strand of this mohair.
