Mink yarn comes from mink that are carefully clipped, so no mink are killed! The fibres are very soft but very short, which is why they are often spun together with other fibres so the yarn won’t break when knitting. It can be knitted with a single strand into a lovely shawl, or with two strands into a cozy sweater. There isn’t much mink yarn on the market, so you get a truly unique product here, which is also hand-dyed - win win......
