Mink yarn comes from mink that are gently clipped, so no mink are killed! The fibers are very soft but very short, and therefore they are often spun together with other fibers so you can knit with it without the yarn breaking. It can be knitted single-ply into a lovely shawl or held double to make a cozy sweater. There is not much mink yarn on the market, so here you get a truly unique product which is also hand-dyed - win win......
