Mink yarn comes from mink that are gently sheared, so no mink are killed! The fibers are very soft but very short and therefore often spun together with other fibers so you can knit with it without the yarn breaking. It can be knitted with a single strand into a lovely shawl or with two strands into a cozy sweater. There is not much mink yarn on the market, so here you get a truly unique product that is also hand-dyed - win win......
