Merino/silk is a delicious, full-bodied luxury base that is not superwash treated. It is excellent for sweater knitting and after washing the stitch definition becomes even more beautiful and fuller. It can easily be knitted together with a mohair and used for one of Petiteknits' many beautiful designs. It can be knitted on wooden needles as well as metal ones. Many sensitive people can tolerate it because the merino used is a fine merino. If you are allergic to wool, you should look for yarn in AKW scale A, but if you are just sensitive you should be able to tolerate this yarn without problems.
